To obtain an Oklahoma medical marijuana card, you must first register with a medical marijuana doctor.
To do so, you must be under the care of a doctor with a medical marijuana license for at least six months. The doctor will need to have seen their adult patient at least four times in the past six months in order to recommend medical marijuana for treatment.
Once you talk with your doctor, you must register with the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA) online. This registration is only necessary if you’re looking to obtain an Oklahoma medical card, not if you only wish to be a caregiver.
Once registered online, you can download a state application and submit it in person or by mail or fax. According to the OMMA, processing takes six to eight weeks.
Medical marijuana cardholders must reapply every six months if they wish to keep their registration active.

When you visit them for the first time, they will ask you many questions about your medical history and medical conditions. They will probably set up a physical exam and lab tests as well.

Caregivers are issued an identification card free of charge with the submission of an application. Once the registry approves the caregiver’s information, they can purchase medical marijuana.
The caregiver’s card will list their Medical Marijuana ID number and detail the grower or dispensary at which they’re authorized to purchase marijuana.
