To get a medical marijuana card in Florida, you will need to visit a qualified Florida physician to receive your certification. The helpful staff at your doctor's office can book your appointment and take you through the process of obtaining a medical marijuana card
In Florida, for medical conditions that qualify for cannabis use, such as certain forms of chronic pain and multiple sclerosis, a referral from a qualified physician is required. At your appointment, you and your Florida cannabis doctor will discuss your qualifying conditions and do a simple health check.
You are eligible to complete Florida’s medical marijuana application online or by mail. After the cannabis doctor enters your information into the MMUR. You will need to provide proof of residency, pay a fee, and submit a passport-style photograph.
If the OMMU approves you for cannabis use, you will receive a medical marijuana card in the mail. You can use your cannabis card to purchase medical marijuana at any of the licensed dispensaries in Florida.
